St Paul’s Eco-Team meeting

Eco Team at St Paul’s with Ranger KF

The Eco Team at St Paul’s has had a weekend of assessment and organisation.

They have been working hard to develop the  grounds with conservation and preservation at the heart of their plans.

The Redavons Rangers were invited to see how their hard work is paying off, to review their progress and make suggestions about how other areas could be used to promote wildflowers and plants/shrub/trees that will support a healthy ecosystem.

With the theme of ‘build it and they will come’ they have plans to build up the species of pollinators which in turn will bring birds, bats and other mammals. They plan on achieving this by providing natural sources of food and varied habitats of undergrowth, open ground, shrubbery and trees.

We were very grateful to be invited and involved and we are looking forward to seeing their progress in the coming months.
